The List View control is used in a number of dialogs in the software (Selection Sets, Contours, etc).

You can search for specific items in the List View using the Search bar.

Begin typing to search. Any items matching the text (case insensitive) will appear in a list below.

All searches are performed on whatever data was in the list before searching.

For most lists searching will be done on the leftmost column. One exception is the User Notifications list which will search the Message column.

Double clicking a search result will return to the original list with the item selected.

Alternatively, pressing enter will return to the original list selecting the currently selected search result. If nothing is selected the first item will be chosen.

Recent successful search terms can be accessed via the drop down button. Note that these are not saved between sessions.
